About The Position
Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE to join our MEDICAL PEDIATRICS team! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Requirements
- Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.
- Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
