About The Position

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Gallatin. This role is ideal for an LPN looking to work in youth behavioral health , juvenile care , or residential treatment . You’ll be responsible for providing direct nursing care, supporting mental health needs, and helping stabilize youth during intake and assessment.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in Tennessee
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
• Willingness to work with youth in challenging situations

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years working in behavioral health , pediatrics , or juvenile residential care
• Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
• Conduct intake physical health assessments and screenings
• Document medical histories and maintain accurate health records
• Provide basic first aid and support emergency medical situations
• Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health staff
• Communicate with guardians, case managers, and outside agencies
• Ensure compliance with state health regulations and treatment protocols
