Located at BUMCP Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic at 1300 N. 12th St, Ste 320, Phoenix, AZ. This position is Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. This role will be managing all new patient intakes, medication management, refills, patient scheduling, completing FMLA paperwork, patient vitals and working closely with resident, providers, medical students and other team members. Working in a medical office is required with providers and other healthcare workers, must have the ability to multitask, ability to work on the computer for long periods of time. Behavioral Health experience is preferred. We are the largest academic Psychiatry program in the valley, the team member will be part of our very cohesive, strong and a dedicated team learning and growing with our residents and medical students. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and/or licensed physician, and is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his or her direction. This position observes, contributes to the plan of care, implements, reports and documents patient care in accordance with department policies, standard of care and state scope of practice. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to contribute to the assessment of data and to plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
