About The Position

Mathews, Virginia Now Hiring: Part-Time LPN (Days & Evenings) Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation in Mathews is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis for day and evening shifts . Eligible for $4,000 Sign on Bonus! Overview Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the development, maintenance, or modification of nursing plan of care. Provides for the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families. Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)

Responsibilities

• Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident care plans.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.
