About The Position

Martha and Mary Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for senior care to join our nursing team as a medication/treatment nurse. A medication/treatment nurse administers routine and PRN medications and treatments in a timely manner, provides adequate monitoring of the residents conditions, works with other disciplines to support services that encourage a resident’s highest level of functioning, and more. Requirements

  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of and ability to deal with confidential information with discretion.

  • Good documentation skills
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work with the team to cover additional hours, vacations, holidays, weekends, as able.
  • Practical Nursing License required
  • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory background and reference checks.

Responsibilities

  • Administers routine and PRN medications and treatments in a timely manner
  • Provides adequate monitoring of the residents conditions
  • Works with other disciplines to support services that encourage a resident’s highest level of functioning

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek. These accruals include the required sick leave per Washington State’s Paid Sick Leave Law
