Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
About The Position
This is a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in the Acute Medical Surgical Department at Holy Family Medical Center - LTACH in Des Plaines, IL 60016. The schedule is 7:00pm - 7:30am with alternating weekends. A Sign-On Bonus of $7,500 is available for qualified candidates, with eligibility and payout terms discussed during the interview process. The role involves providing direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. The LPN collaborates with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the medical surgical setting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

- Work experience in health care preferred.
