About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a secure facility. The LPN will administer medications, execute physician orders, assist with clinical procedures, and support the medical unit while ensuring compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with LPN certification
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a secure, structured, and high-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care, including administering medications, supporting exams, and monitoring patient health
- Conduct sick calls and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Manage medical supplies and ensure safe storage of medications
- Support clinical operations, including chart reviews and follow-ups for complex cases
- Maintain confidentiality, safety, and compliance with accreditation standards
- Assist in emergencies and coordinate patient movement as needed
- Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and patients
