Requirements

Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Georgia, certified or registered medical assistant, or prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Phlebotomist preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required for Medical Assistant or Patient Care Assistant candidates.
Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program for LPN candidates.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required for licensed practical nurse or medical assistant candidates.

Nice To Haves

Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Georgia, certified or registered medical assistant, or prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Phlebotomist preferred.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required for licensed practical nurse or medical assistant candidates. Preferred, but not required for patient care assistant.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and evaluating results of diagnostic tests and taking appropriate action
Assisting in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments, and minor medical procedures
Assisting with the development of patient education plans
