About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel contract in a long-term care setting in Falmouth, MA. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure accurate documentation while following facility policies and healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved LPN nursing program
• Active Massachusetts LPN license
• BLS / CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Supervise and assist nursing assistants
• Document patient care and physician orders
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheterization, suctioning, and tube feeding
• Collect lab samples (urine, blood, sputum)
• Record vital signs and maintain medical supplies
• Educate residents and families on care plans
