Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our evening shift team at Baldwin State Prison in Hardwick, GA. The LPN works under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and in collaboration with medical and mental health providers to address patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to obtain required security clearance, including drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine and specialized nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN or provider
- Assist with behavioral health interventions as part of the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
