Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
  • Current licensure in the facility’s state or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC). Employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who move to the facility’s state must obtain state licensure within 60 days of changing residency.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
