Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Current and Unrestricted LPN licensure in the State of Louisiana required
• Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred
• Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

• At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Dispense medication as ordered by the physician
• Provide individual nursing care as ordered by the physician
• Management of the therapeutic milieu
• Participates as an active member of the multidisciplinary team with input into patient treatment planning
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
