About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - New Grads Welcome Primary Care office Full-Time (40 hours/week) OR Part-Time (min. 20 hours/week) Day Shift Flexible Schedule $24.00 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience) Non-Exempt ASK US ABOUT TUITION REIMBURSEMENT!!!! License Practical Nurses (LPN's) are assigned to a provider's team to work with patients, from start to finish, and implement our preventive care measures. You are actively involved in the health and wellbeing of our patients.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Current Valid New York State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • GPN's one-year timeframe to pass boards
  • Prior experience in busy medical office preferred, but not required
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment

Responsibilities

  • Medication administration
  • Phlebotomy
  • Electronic Medical Record documentation
  • Intake process and work with provider to assist with patient visit
  • Administer injections
  • Perform ECGs
  • Telephone triage
  • Place orders and refill prescriptions at the Providers request
