Day to day as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN As a new Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. You will work closely with a diverse healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each patient's needs are met with excellence and empathy. Your schedule will typically involve 12-hour shifts, either from 7 AM to 7 PM or from 7 PM to 7 AM. During your shifts, you will assess patient conditions, assist with daily activities, and maintain thorough documentation to support quality care. Collaboration and communication with other healthcare professionals will be essential, as will a strong commitment to safety and integrity in all aspects of patient care.
