About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Valley View Retirement Community Full-Time • 6PM - 630AM • Every other weekend/holiday Valley View is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality nursing care while guiding Nursing Assistants and supporting a safe, resident-centered environment. In this essential role, you will help ensure residents receive individualized, compassionate care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN/LVN program
- Current, active, and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English with strong communication skills
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Valley View
Nice To Haves
- Medication administration and clinical nursing experience
- Previous experience in long-term care or senior living
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and oversee daily care delivered by Nursing Assistants
- Supervise nursing assistant activities in accordance with state regulations and facility guidelines
- Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
- Complete clinical documentation, medication administration, and incident reporting accurately and timely
