About The Position

Heritage Hall is currently seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse at our Lexington, VA facility! Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for participating in the direct care of residents as well as supervising all non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department at our 60 bed facility. They administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The LPN ensures that the CNA’s are properly administering services and that there is adequate CNA coverage on each shift. Requirements

  • Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Must have active LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care preferred
