About The Position

Nashoba Learning Group (NLG) is a mission-driven organization supporting children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related needs. Our programs serve learners across our Day School and Adult Services in a highly collaborative, compassionate, and interdisciplinary environment. We’re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. As an LPN at NLG, you’ll provide direct nursing care and play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we support. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you’ll collaborate closely with program staff, families, and medical providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care across our school and adult services programs.

Requirements

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CPR/First Aid certified (Instructor certification required post-hire)
  • Clean CORI and OIG background checks
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physical able to preform all job duties

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and track compliance
  • Maintain medical documentation and immunization records
  • Monitor students and members during medical incidents, restraints, and emergencies
  • Collaborate with families, physicians, and staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Lead infection control measures and track data
  • Provide training to staff in CPR, First Aid, and medication protocols
  • Attend nursing and behavior support meetings
  • Help implement emergency response plans
