Requirements
- Active LPN license in the State of Minnesota.
- CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Compassionate, Clinical Care: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
- Lead & Support the Care Team: Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
- Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster a Safe & Supportive Environment: Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times.
- Promote dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions.
- Respond promptly to call lights and urgent care needs with a calm and professional presence.
- Be a Clinical & Community Leader: Mentor new staff and share knowledge with team members.
- Collaborate with families and other departments to meet holistic care goals.
- Represent the nursing team positively in community events and care conferences.
