About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Pay Range: $32.00–$35.00/hr Overnight Differential: +$3.00/hr Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts (3 shift/week) | Every other weekend off Why Nurses Like Working Here Behavioral health nursing is busy, engaging, and very human. You’ll work from a central nurse station where clients come to you, giving you a steady home base even on fast-paced days. New to behavioral health? That’s okay! Requirements
- Active LPN license in the State of Illinois
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Compassion, professionalism, and a team mindset
Nice To Haves
- SUD/MH experience is a plus — not required
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans
- Conduct daily nurse visits and monitor client health status
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Process labs and communicate results
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (HIPAA & regulatory standards)
- Respond to medical concerns with confidence and compassion
- Support clients through detox and stabilization
- Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and the clinical team
- Communicate with families when appropriate
- Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse communication
- Maintain medical supply inventory
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
