Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift
About The Position
Labor Finders Brooksville is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our talent pool for placement at a newly opened behavioral health facility. This facility is focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health and substance-use treatment services. Night shift positions are available immediately. The Night-Shift LPN will provide essential clinical support, medication administration, patient monitoring, and crisis‑stabilization assistance within an inpatient behavioral health environment. Candidates must be confident working independently and maintaining patient safety during overnight hours.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida.
- Strong communication, observation, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Ability to work overnight with minimal supervision.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required (or ability to obtain prior to placement).
- Ability to respond quickly in a behavioral health setting and meet physical demands of the role.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health, detox, or psychiatric care strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with de-escalation and trauma-informed care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines and facility policies.
- Perform medication administration, including controlled substances, per state regulations.
- Monitor and document patient status, behaviors, and treatment responses.
- Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and safety protocols.
- Conduct basic assessments and support individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold compliance standards.
- Communicate effectively with on-site staff and the facility’s multidisciplinary team.
