About The Position
Join the TK Health Clinics team providing patient care where the need is highest. We are a correctional healthcare provider with clinics across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Our team oversees day-to-day healthcare operations in jail and detention center facilities ranging in size from 25 to nearly 2,000 inmates. Our medical staff have the opportunity to utilize their clinical skills to the fullest in a safe, secure, and structured environment. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care based on individualized patient needs, performing both dependent and independent nursing functions in accordance with established standards and procedures. This role functions under the direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license
- Current CPR
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Accurately document patient care
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
