This Non-Exempt | Contract Contingent position currently best aligns with the Licensed Practical Nurse Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive “Jugaad” and dialogue targeting mission success. ProSidian Team Members work to provide Nursing Services at White Earth Health Center (WEHC) - Combination of RN/LPN Services For The White Earth Service Unit on behalf of Healthcare with services aligned with 561320 - Temporary Help Services as part of Program / Project Management Solutions Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Licensed Practical Nurse | White Earth Health Center Candidates shall work to support requirements for Assist program and project management in a functional area with educational and practical experience. and provide Nursing Services at White Earth Health Center (WEHC) - Combination of RN/LPN Services For The White Earth Service Unit on behalf of Healthcare with services aligned with 561320 - Temporary Help Services as part of Program / Project Management Solutions Candidates shall provide emergency and routine general medical services for eligible patients (children, adults, and elderly) at the White Earth Health Center. Candidates are expected to screen up to 30 patients per eight-hour workday. Duties shall include but are not limited to the following: Providing a high standard of nursing services in accordance with sound professional nursing principles and the ability to adapt services insuring basic and special needs of the patients using nursing process. Systematically assessing patient care needs through analysis of data gained through interviews with patient and/or family, objective findings review of health record and consultation with physician and other staff members. Constantly reassessing needs based on patients' response to medical and nursing regimes. Recognizing the difference between the dependent and independent nursing activities and practices accordingly. Carrying out nursing and medical plans as delegated and utilizing critical thinking in setting priorities. Initiates appropriate follow up action to ensure continuity of care. Providing comprehensive nursing care that is appropriate, safe, and timely. Administering therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician such as medications, immunizations, treatments, intravenous fluids, naso-gastric suction, Irrigations, etc. Setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized equipment and evaluating results. Providing appropriate nursing intervention in all phases of care including initiating appropriate emergency measures providing emergency situations. Evaluating nursing care based on established standards and criteria and participating in quality assurance activities such as nursing audits, infection control, and nursing care conferences. Providing age-appropriate nursing care for neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Receiving assignments daily from the supervisor or lead nurse. Requirements

  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | White Earth Health Center shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
  • All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.
  • The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
  • TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: ProSidian Nurses shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government’s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
  • Contractor will provide documents as needed to verify current and ongoing competency, skills, certification and/or licensure related to the provision of care, treatment and/or services performed.
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working with health care facilities in developing revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Must have three years or more of experience in coding (ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT 4).
  • Must have knowledge of a compliance program and requirements
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: These positions involve considerable amounts of standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and turning. It requires restraining confused clients, repositioning clients, assisting with transferring clients to wheelchairs/stretchers, and transporting them to other departments or facilities.
  • TRAINING (IHS MANDATORY): ProSidian Team Members shall meet all the Indian Health Services educational requirements, to include annual security and privacy training. All mandatory courses must be completed by the ProSidian Team Members staff as required by the IHS.
  • STANDARD PERSONNEL TESTING/INFECTION CONTROL: ProSidian Team Members shall provide proof of the following tests for their staff within five (5) calendar days after contract award and prior to the first duty shift and the following tests shall be current within the past year: Tuberculosis | Rubella | Varicella | Vacellular Pertussis | Influenza | Hepatitis B Vaccination | Measles, Mumps
  • Education: A graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
  • Qualification: Candidate must hold an unencumbered nursing license from within the United States and hold and maintain a Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.
  • May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement
  • Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
