Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures essential. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
  • Currently licensed to practice practical nursing by the Ohio State Board of Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as an LPN in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred

Responsibilities

  • LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
