About The Position

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Davenport, FL to provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes. This role includes routine skilled nursing visits and may include assessment‑related visits under RN direction , with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case and service provided . This position is ideal for LPNs who are confident working independently, experienced in home health, and understand the importance of accurate, detailed clinical documentation in supporting patient care and nursing oversight. Requirements

  • License: Active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience
  • Home Health Experience: Preferred
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to complete detailed, accurate clinical notes
  • Compliance: CPR certification and Level II background screening
  • Transportation: Ability to travel to patient homes
  • Classification: Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine skilled nursing visits as ordered
  • Assist with patient assessments under RN direction, as applicable
  • Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled interventions
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes to the supervising RN
  • Educate patients and caregivers on care plans and treatment instructions
  • Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation
