About The Position

University Physicians' Association is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at UT Rheumatology, located on the UT Medical Center campus.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet deadlines efficiently. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be comfortable giving instructions and writing orders. This role works closely with physicians to ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients.

This position also requires the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, patients, and their families, while representing the practice in a positive and compassionate manner.

Requirements

• Active LPN license required
• Prior medical experience preferred
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and effective time management

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with patient care
• Scheduling appointments
• Handling prior authorizations and pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
• Communicating test results
• Performing phlebotomy
• Supporting various clinical and administrative tasks
