More about our team We are a primary care office with 1 provider. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. We offer comprehensive healthcare. Our provider is trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as provide preventative care and health education to our patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of NC
- Must have the ability to work independently, have strong oral skills, good basic math skills and be computer literate.
- The medical practices utilize an electronic medical record.
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days and maintain thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the medical practice setting will be helpful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assists Providers with preparation and information documentation for the patient's visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.
- Prepares exam rooms for patients.
- Assists Providers with procedures as directed by the Provider.
- Assists with collection of lab samples.
- Gives injections, administers meds, and provides wound care as ordered by Provider.
- Documents all care and education in medical record.
