About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Oak Park, MI. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a home care setting, ensuring their health and comfort while adhering to established care plans and clinical guidelines. Its 3pm-6pm 7 days a week a total of 21 hours.
Requirements
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Must be comfortable with Suprapubic Catheter
- Trait care and long suction
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication instructions, and health promotion.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
