Requirements

Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
Current CPR
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Monitor residents’ health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document resident care activities thoroughly and promptly in electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Respond promptly to residents’ needs and emergencies, ensuring safety and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
