About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for participating in the direct care of residents as well as supervising all non-professional personnel in the Nursing Department. They administer, stock, and dispose of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The LPN ensures that the CNA’s are properly administering services and that there is adequate CNA coverage on each shift. This position will be for our night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Note: This position also requires the ability to work every other weekend. Requirements

  • Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Must have an active LPN license in the state of Virginia
  • Ability to work every other weekend

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care is preferred
