About The Position

Job functions specifically performed by the LPN include the following: 1. Complete needed medication passes across all locations. 2. Follow body check schedule. 3. Deliver medication as needed to appropriate location and assist with monthly medication change over. 4. Perform wound care. 5. Review MARs for accuracy. 6. Attend psychiatrist, PCP, dental and specialist visits. 7. Review shift count and control count logs. 14. Other duties as assigned. The LPN is accountable for maintaining individual certifications (CPR/First aid and LPN) and ensure all necessary course re-trainings are up to date to remain an active employee in accordance with Rimland’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • You must have a valid drivers license & be willing to drive company vehicles to be eligible for this position
  • Pass: A fingerprint criminal background check
  • A child abuse and neglect check
  • A drug screen.
  • Provide: An original educational document (no photocopies) showing you have obtained your LPN license and it is in good standing in the state of Illinois.
  • Residency for the past 2 years
  • Current & original documents that verify your identity & ability to legally work in the United States
  • Two verifiable employment references within the last 3 years
  • Proof of valid drivers license at the time of interview
