In addition to evidence-based treatment, clients participate in scheduled groups, individual counseling and a variety of elective groups that support their transition to a sober lifestyle in an expansive setting. Pyramid Healthcare’s detox program ensures a safe, medically-supervised withdrawal from alcohol and other substances in a comfortable, non-hospital setting. Requirements

  • Current LPN license in NJ - we accept compact licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred
  • Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
  • Medication administration Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
  • Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
  • Provide medication education to clients
  • Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
  • Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
  • Other duties as assigned
