About The Position

Are you a new or seasoned LPN with a passion for mental health looking for a full-time role? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking compassionate and motivated full-time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Virginia REACH team in supporting individuals with I/DD and mental health needs at our warm, home-like Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA. Enjoy a $10,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full-time new hire LPNs! Please note REACH Region I is now under new management with ESPH! We welcome both new applicants and those who previously applied! Schedule Options: Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday, 11pm-7am

Requirements

Licensure: Current valid, unrestricted licensed as a Practical Nurse in state of Virginia
Skills: Strong communication and documentation
Transportation: A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments

Nice To Haves

Knowledge: MH and I/DD systems of care preferred
Experience: Crisis prevention and intervention services preferred

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate medical and nursing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with clinical protocols
Conduct nursing assessments
Educate and empower individuals regarding their mental and physical health
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all nursing services and observations
Uphold compliance with all regulatory and clinical care standards to ensure the highest quality of service
