About The Position

At the Orthopedic Clinic at Short Pump Pavilion, we provide a range of care to patients of all ages for a multitude of orthopedic sub-specialties to include foot/ankle, hand, joint, shoulder/elbow and spine as well as pediatrics, oncology, sports, trauma and wounds. We are made up of a collaborative team of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, NPs, PAs, Surgeons and Physicians who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to or patients. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7:45am-5pm and we offer flexible shift options. You will work some Saturday clinic hours 9am-1pm but no nights or holidays are required. Enjoy free parking onsite! The LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level. The LPN job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This role safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.

Requirements

LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible
Current LPN Licensure in Virginia
AHA BLS Certification or equivalent
Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing
Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders, standards, and practice guidelines such as treatments and organizes work to carry out assignment.
