About The Position
Grand Villa of Palm Coast is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work rotating weekends, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced work schedule while providing exceptional care to our residents. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans - Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members - Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support - Document resident care activities thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
