Our experienced Board-Certified dermatologists, plastic surgeons, skin care specialists, estheticians, and researchers are dedicated to bringing an unmatched level of Total Skin Care, offering some of the most advanced skin treatments available, in a Boutique setting. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy dermatology practice, primarily working in medical and surgical dermatology. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced outpatient or hospital setting and is comfortable working with advanced technology, including AI-driven patient information systems. Experience assisting with surgical procedures is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Current and active LPN license.
- 2+ years of experience in dermatology or busy outpatient/hospital practice preferred.
- Experience assisting in surgical procedures required.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and AI-based documentation tools.
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Prolonged periods of being on your feet during scheduled shifts.
- Continuous face-to-face interaction and verbal communication with patients.
- Frequent movement within the office including climbing stairs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance in medical dermatology surgery settings.
- Assist providers with in-office surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments.
- Accurately document patient information using EMR systems and AI-supported technology platforms.
- Educate patients on pre and post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain exam rooms and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Support clinic efficiency in a busy outpatient environment.
