About The Position

Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
