Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

About the position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care/Nursing Home and Transitional Care unit regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our welcoming Skilled Nursing Facility in Lake City, MN. Our skilled nursing facility can provide care for up to 90 residents across our Transitional Care and Long-term care units, supported by a dedicated team committed to Ebenezer's mission of fostering longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives through healing, discovery, and education. Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing cares and treatments
• Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
• Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status

Requirements

• MN LPN licensure
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers
• BLS certification must be obtained within three weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice

Nice-to-haves

• Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
• 1-3 years of experience
• MS Office, Excel, and Word
