About The Position

Ottumwa Regional Health Center provides a wide range of health services, including emergency medicine, critical care services, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, and pediatrics, as well as specialty services such as cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services, wound care, pain clinic, sleep lab, pathology, and so much more. The LPN works under the supervision of the department Director and Manager, and the registered nurse. They are responsible for providing nursing care for acutely ill patients. The nurse performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Recent RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year Wound Care experience
