About The Position

Will lead the clinical operations of the practices, including training and development of clinical staff, developing clinical policies and protocols, and overseeing the clinical quality and safety aspects of the practices. Working with and supporting operations managers to gain high functioning, competent clinical teams and offices.

Requirements

  • Two years of related experience.
  • Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
  • Must hold a Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License.
  • Must be knowledgeable about practice operations, including experience in a medical practice.
  • Must be able to manage employees with organization, assertion, and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must possess a strong sense of discipline to work with acceptable clinical standards and regulations.
  • Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records and orders.
  • Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes teamwork and empowers teams and individuals to meet their potential.
  • Supports quality and efficiency improvement efforts.
  • Provides positive feedback as well as constructive criticism, in collaboration with operations manager.
  • Communicates pertinent hospital activities to departmental employees.
  • Develops personal education to be proactive in meeting the future needs of the department.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude toward all customers of Tanner, internal and external.
  • Projects a positive, professional image.
  • Supports operations manager as a point-person for the staff and practices when manager is not present.
  • Develops and oversees clinical orientation and ensures clinical employees receive ongoing training.
  • Shadows, rounds, and trains all clinical new hires and oversees their performance.
  • Develops competencies for the clinical staff and assures competencies stay up to date.
  • Provides manager feedback on the clinical staff's performance and assists with the clinical staff's development.
  • Develops expert knowledge on regulations pertaining to office infection prevention, CLIA standards, and OSHA.
  • Supervises practice supply management and clinical supply ordering.
  • Organizes meetings and education activities for clinical staff.
  • Participates in TMG marketing opportunities for the practices.
  • Ensures general cleanliness and neatness of the practices.
  • Develops and assures all programs have written processes or standard of cares.
  • Trains staff on procedures and oversees for competency.
  • Assists managers and Director with new clinical program development.
  • Checks equipment routinely to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Participates in safety and quality programs and is a member of the Quality and or other Pillar teams.
  • Maintains a high degree of knowledge of nurse and medical assistant competency.
  • Participates in the development of new programs.
  • Assists in leading team members in achieving customer service goals for the practice.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
  • Monitors customer service and develops action plans for improving patient satisfaction.
  • Develops and oversees the practices' proper handling of medications.
