Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Specialist - Geriatrics
About The Position
Assists practitioner in assigned Urgent Care and/or specialty clinic(s) in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Geriatrics team at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for seniors through their family medicine and internal medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Six (6) months related experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
- Lab/EKG experience preferred.
