How you'll contribute - The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient’s needs

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational program.
  • Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identified patient needs.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
