About The Position

AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN), OBSTETRICS, you'll provide nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of your practice within the Maternal and Child Center which features spacious private rooms. We provide everything for a safe, comfortable labor experience - including the latest in fetal monitoring, 3D and 4D women's ultrasound, anesthesia equipment and delivery beds. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care and performs appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients and effectively interacts within patients, significant others, and other health care team workers while maintaining standards of practical nursing. SHIFT: Primarily 7am to 7:30pm with occasional nights $7,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus for Qualified Candidates

Requirements

Have a current PA LPN License or Temporary Practice Permit
Have Healthcare Provider CPR within 6 months of hire
Have NRP within 12 months of hire
Have good communication skills
Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
Be a team player

Nice To Haves

Have OB experience (preferred)
Have medical systems computer experience (preferred)
