About The Position

Hannibal Regional Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Medical Telemetry unit. This full-time position requires working nights from 7pm to 7:30am, including a weekend rotation. The role is critical in providing nursing support and ensuring the successful implementation of nursing knowledge and processes in a telemetry setting. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus or tuition repayment of up to $10,000, making it an attractive opportunity for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in Missouri.
• IV certification required (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 3 months of graduation).
• Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process.
• Demonstrates skill in area of specialty.
• ACLS certification within six (6) months for ER, OR, Women's Care, Medical Telemetry, Step Down, Cath Lab, & ICU/CVICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical Telemetry unit.
• Implement nursing knowledge and processes effectively.
• Demonstrate skills in the area of specialty nursing.
• Maintain basic life support validation.
