Requirements

GED or High School Diploma
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Vocational/Technical
Current LPN license (upon hire)
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities

provided nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
