About The Position

Provide, promote and maintain quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, professional growth, and collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Licensed Practical Nursing required
• Experience: Each candidate’s previous clinical experience is reviewed to determine acceptable experience
• Licensure/Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State LPN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a LPN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State LPN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes and documents initial adult admission history within specified time frame.
• Assesses patient as ongoing process utilizing physician and psychosocial input and documents in the chart.
• Carries out physician’s treatment plan continuously.
• Verifies, during hospitalization, orders for accuracy (including reconciliation of medications), appropriate scheduling of tests and/or procedures, pre-op data, and consent forms.
• Follows medication policy including patient identification, understanding about medications, administering meds and recognizing/reporting interactions 100% of the time.
• Appropriately monitors first dose medication(s) for adverse reactions.
• Performs related duties as required.
