About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join a busy urology clinic in Oswego, NY. This is a short-term contract opportunity ideal for candidates with strong clinical and administrative experience who thrive in a fast-paced medical environment. The LPN/LVN will provide patient-focused care, assist providers with procedures, and support clinic operations.

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN license required
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and clinical workflows
• Strong computer skills, including data entry and typing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or GED required (in addition to LPN qualification)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in urology or catheterization is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and referrals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers with urology-related procedures, including catheterization (preferred)
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations and treatments
• Support office and clinical procedures as needed
• Process patient referrals and coordinate appointments
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
• Perform clerical duties, including data entry and patient coordination
• Collaborate effectively with providers, coordinators, and other clinical staff
• Uphold high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism
