About The Position

We are seeking a Medical-Surgical LPN to join a complex acute care unit. This role requires the ability to independently manage patient assignments with RN support while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Requirements

Active New York State LPN license required (non-compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Recent acute care experience within the past 2 years
Ability to manage own patient assignment with RN oversight
Experience with: Blood product administration
Central and peripheral line care
PICC line management
IV initiation and maintenance
Phlebotomy
Oxygen delivery systems (HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen tanks)
Tracheostomy care
Feeding tube care
Heparin protocols
Pacemakers (temporary and permanent)
Telemetry monitoring (on-unit)
Rapid Response and Code Team protocols
Isolation precautions
Wound care and wound vacs
Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Orthopedic trauma, Total Joint Replacements Surgical drains
EPIC (experience required)
