About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Lead is responsible for monitoring and leading the daily operations of the back office staff of a medical clinic. This role assists practitioners in performing procedures, managing telephone prescription orders and refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results. The LPN Lead provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the clinic leadership team within the scope of practice. The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members, from newborns to seniors, through their pediatric, family medicine, and internal medicine providers. They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling regarding health and lifestyle. This practice also includes family medicine residents who work closely with the primary care team of attending physicians throughout their three years of training and are directly involved in patient care.
