About The Position

This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working as a vital member of the care team at Mercy Health Home Care and Hospice by Compassus. The role focuses on providing hands-on support to patients while leveraging AI-supported technology to streamline the documentation process. The aim is to allow LPNs to spend more time delivering compassionate care and less time on administrative tasks, thereby improving work-life balance by reducing after-hours documentation. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, reduced documentation burden through AI tools, and enhanced efficiency in complying with care standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Active and unencumbered Licensed Vocational/Practical nurse license in state(s) of employment

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years of experience as an LPN in a clinical care setting preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, preferably in hospice, home health care, oncology or emergency care preferred
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (preferred within 30 days of hire)
