About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Emergency Department (ED) provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, applying bandages and dressings, dispensing medications, and observing patients for adverse reactions to treatments. The LPN may assist patients with activities of daily living and is involved in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
